It's amazing how many ways feed can go bad in little dark corners, under waterers, etc. I missed them eating the old compost with the moldy feed at the bottom of the pile. Didnt think they could fit through the fence to eat that well, but I guess they were motivated, LOL. Your problem does sound like botulism, though, so keep looking and you may find the cause.
