7 week EE feathers?

Have 5 seven- week old EE's, however have one EE that looks like an Emu ... Only wing & head feathers. Will the rest of Baby Emu's feathers come in?

Hehehehe, he looks like my Austrolorp did for weeks. For some reason it just took his feathers longer to come in. I called him an Emu too!

Are you sure it doesn't have bugs? Or it could just be pecking order establishment? Or it is just taking it a little longer like the other post said.

It does look funny. Would some extra protein help the feathers? I've read that feathers use a lot of protein.

Sometimes after losing them it could take a couple of months to grow back in so you may just have an emu on your hands for a while.

By the way it is a very cute EE!
