7 week old Banty roo pale comb, and combining older chicks???

I love my little Roo, and he follows me every where I go but when I pick him up and hold him his comb and waddles turn pale. It doesn't seem to bother him but WHY? I'm worried about him!!!!

Also I put my 5 week olds in with my 7 week olds and the 7 week old roos are terrorizing my little guys... how do I get them to stop?

They do control the flow of blood to the combs so the color can vary in a normal range.

I'd bet the paler comb either means he's very content when you pick him up, OR very stressed.

When are feeling aggressive, their combs get redder...

I'm guessing he's very relaxed then LOL! He's such a sweetie to me anyway. He picks on any other bird who comes near me... my little Roo stalker! I thought I was actually cutting off circulation or something... because another one does it... But he's also got a Mommy crush...
