7 Week Old Roo with Floppy Comb

Nutrition is very important for all things and my barnyard mix flock were all on a complete starter grower up until the first egg appeared, around 18 wks. I was given this flock from a kindergarten hatching project. They all came from the same owners flock and 2 roos and 3 hens have floppy combs So I'm thinking its a trait somewhere in their mixed gene pool,

Good. I'd hate for it to be all my fault.
Yeah, I could see it for sure being frustrating if you bought pure breeds to hatch, sale and/or show and need your flock to meet the breed standard. Or even if you were just wanting a certain look and something else appeared. I am fortunate mine were just for egg laying , free pets.
