Done it. If I leave for a few days I plug my incubator into the backup for my computer. Mine is powerful enough though to run an old microwave (lower watts than new ones but still takes a lot of power at once). It's so heavy that I usually just slide it across the room. It'll run the incubator all night if the room temp isn't too cool. Those heaters aren't on constantly. They only draw power for the couple minutes at a time so the backups last longer than you'd think.
