The wind missed us to the north.

We have a big storm on Sunday though--It will get to you for sure.

A tree fell over and killed someone in Portland Oregon.

Oh no, didn't hear about that tree falling. See, that is what I'm afraid of here. We get what is called Micro Bursts. Our neighbors down the street had a huge pine tree fall over into the street yrs. ago. My hubby and a few other neighbors were over there with their chain saws cutting that tree up to get it out of the street when the wind stopped. It's crazy when this happens. People pull over off of the road when the winds act up like that. Tree branches flying everywhere.
So sad about that death.

What about mixing the rails?

I have seen that done. You can also remove the rails for staggered hatching in a single incubator.

I went ahead and set my eggs this morning. Some were getting a bit old and i can never get them to hatch on day 21 anyway. Always a day or two late.

I'm having to skip 8 pages because you guys just post too much!
Unfortunately I will not get to hatch this round. The primary hen in my flock that I wanted to hatch from is not Laying right now. Don't quite have the money to do the shipped eggs right now either.
I'll read along, and enjoy all of your antics...

My hen decided to go broody about a weeks ago, so I will (hopefully) have some banty chicks around a week before the hatch-a-long ends.

I love my Coolerbator that Sally Sunshine/Rush Lane Poultry helped me make.
But I am leaving when the eggs are setting and wont be able to turn them.
I COULD take it with me, I have an Inverter...
But I would be ticked if someone slammed on the brakes.......
So I got a 2362N
Forced fan manual wafer with turner
But I dont have quail rails
Not sure how that ones gonna work out..

OMG and I was embarrased at myself for wanting to take my eggs with me lol!!! Glad to know Im not the only one!
