7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

There is nothing on it at all, i found an ebay listing of the same one but it does not name a brand or anything...so weird! I cant find any more information about it after that. Heres the link to the ebay incubator. I hope its not against the rule to post links.
Contact the seller on ebay to see if they have a manual for it.

I hope so!

Perfect!

What incubator do you have?

I have a LG9300, but I replaced the thermostat with the forced air incukit. Works amazing!!!!

Ok...I'm SO envious right now. :drool   :bow     I want AC eggs SO badly:love

They had my at "hello."

And I can't import to Canada. :hit

I wish you the very best on your hatch!!!    :highfive:   Can't wait to see the chicks!! :weee

They are beautiful!!!!! I hope they hatch for me. The air cells looked pretty good. So......:fl

Sooo very exciting!!! Such a beautiful breed. I hope you share chick pics with us once they hatch.

I totally will. I usually take pictures on day 7, 14, 18. So I will post pics as I take them!!!

Worse comes to worse, unplug and plug in again, though that'd mess with the temp for a while.
I tried that right away, unplugged it for about 10 seconds and plugged it back in and it still says 7 days on it, i wonder if i should try unplugging it for longer than that....maybe a minute? would that harm the eggs? They've only been in for about an hour.

speaking about Thermo/hygros on the other thread as well so I will also share since its here as well...

if your gonna buy a new one, its worth it to spend a buck or two more and get one that has a high/low reading......... especially when using styrofoam bators because those boogers sure can have some flux in temps on your... and its always best to run them for several days before you set to be sure you have them located in an area that is free from temp swings, from drafts, lighting etc....

doing so gives you time to figure out a place to put your bator and fix the issue or put some heat sinks in it, like stones or hot water bottles. its always best to run a full bator of eggs though... SET ALL EGGS!! :lau

Heyyyyyyyy, Sally! I remember asking years ago. Can't remember why no picture. Anyway! Asking again, will you please take a picture of how that thermometer should be in the incubator? I keep it laying down, and use other thermometers, but to cut out the second guessing, I'd like to be 100%.

Thanks for the positive review of the incu kit.

Was it hard to install?

I know this is cheating, but the local feed store got in a batch of baby chicks. They have Buff Orpington, Dominiques, Black Austerlorp, and New Hampshire Reds. Which ones would you choose? If I were to pick up 2 or 3 to go with my 3 week silkies, and 7 day old EEs, which should I get? One of each?

Yeah, try at least 30 seconds, maybe it has some kind of internal clock that needs to run out of power. Also look for a small pinhole somewhere. Most machines usually have something to reset themselves.
