I know right! It is logical thats what the thread is about.... I am proud to get through that with the help of ron and tons of others from BYC, and be able to go out an process any time I need to. Do I like to kill a chicken NO, is it part of life, YES, we eat meant plain and simple. they help me get through and back to reality, part of which this world is loosing very quickly in the past 50 years.... Great group of people to help out when you need them, full of information on the thread too. just processed 27 roosters and did the deed myself and couldnt have done it without Ron and the others, thats why I love me Ron

Sooooo.....if an extra egg or twelve fell into the bator today, would they still qualify for the HAL? Just curious, stranger things have happened with my bator in the past.

I got 3 more eggs today and couldn't help myself. Into the bator they went.

Got another this morning... its still within 48 hours of the set date/time... i could still set it... hmmm

* Update on my hatch: took out 3 quitters last night. After horror stories of eggs gone bad I am sure I can smell something off. So to be safe I took the eggs out I'm sure weren't developing anymore. Down to 10 viable.
** None of the eggs were stinky when I smelled them up close so I'm still not sure what I am smelling. I do have three boys so .....
