7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

I dream of hatching eggs. I think of hatching eggs. I wonder when these stupid stinkin' eggs are gonna hatch! Isn't it time yet?!

As kid everything seemed to take forever and as an adult now everything seems to move soooooo fast. Another year is gone and by in a blink of an eye. Except, when I am hatching eggs then it seems like they take forever

In other news,
I got my first meatbirds yesterday, CornishX.

They wanted my bantam Ameracauna mix so I traded 5 for 5.
I got the Chicks and Broody mama for free from the farm.....
Then I found out they like raw milk so I traded for another 5 for A Gal. and a half.
Very excited.
The misses says they are only cute when chickidees....
I say more reason to keep hatching......

You are very wise!

OK, I'm in trouble. I now have 3 turkey hens laying and no more room in the bator. I'm setting them on Sunday, one way or another. ALL OF THEM lol.
Time for a new bator!

161 miles away, not too bad at all. How do they work? Is there an entrance fee? I've been to Cat shows, but never chicken shows!

there is no entrance fee unless you want to show or sell stuff!
Well...since you asked....

This is Breezie. We have tons of fun with this!

Do you go to the other Serama shows that are too far north for me?
oh my gosh that is awesome! I have a horse that I have to be carful not to put stuff too near his stall door... He will throw his halter way far!

X2 I just started to show!
Ok so I have an Idea... there are so many serama people in CA what about making a ca serama thread?
She liked to hold rocks or sticks in her mouth and draw on the wall. I taught her to hold a brush and apply it to a canvas. I give her three or four colors at a time and she takes it from there. I don't make her do anything. She just really loves it.

those are beautiful... I just have to ask... is that a hoof mark in the bottom one?
