Power was off at my house for a couple of hours today.

Not a problem--works for the cool down cycle.

I was going to turn that on today so will now wait until tomorrow.

That made sense to me ; ). I just love her paintings, I think they are so cool! I remember seeing an elephant paint once on a tv show. I really think animals and birds are so much more intelligent than we give them credit for. At some point I realized that if I just talk to them as though they understand me, they really do understand me and it makes life a lot easier. I had a cat once that wanted to go out late and stay out and then wake me up in the night till I told him what time to be home by and he started coming home by curfew, actually right on time!

Thanks Ron that will make my trip to Elk Grove easier. I have a generator but the gals can't start it heck sometimes I can't start it. We have a weak transfomer breaker at the end of our road and it pops with the slightest wind. I'll look into the cooler period when I get back.

As kid everything seemed to take forever and as an adult now everything seems to move soooooo fast. Another year is gone and by in a blink of an eye. Except, when I am hatching eggs then it seems like they take forever 

I too have experienced this phenomenon and suggest that we incubate constantly so as to reverse the effect of time speeding up.
