7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

My first New Years chic was about 0445 local time and the second about 0700 -- my darkest egg hatched a light down naked neck.  My first naked neck is fluffing up and there does appear to be a bowtie

Bow ties are pretty I had some silkies that way once. Congrats on the chicks.

Did not make it to 12:00 only 11:00 woke at 2:00 to check stragglers forgot to take my alarm off so at 4:45 back awake to turn alarm off and check stragglers. Now I'm awake again 6:30.

They're due today, I'm just used to having early hatches. I'm using a different hatcher this year though so I don't have the temps perfectly figured out yet lol. The fact that they're all still moving in the shells and that I may have heard a peep keeps me excited

I accomplished my goal... I set 7 eggs for the NYD HAL on Dec. 12, and this morning is Jan. 1... and all 7 chicks hatched! 100%!!!

The sun is up, the day(year) has begun, and it is raining. Also, still no hatchlings. The chicks are still in their shells.
