Yup that is me. I have you to thank for that. You recommended that Idaho/Utah group too me. It really is an awesome group, great people. Thanks, again.

Yeah, I should have a few more sensor built out around spring time, if not a little before that. When I get them built I was going to offer them out to some of the members of the Idaho/Utah group to try them out. Don't worry your top on the list. I have also used the sensor to detect when a hen is laying an egg in the nesting box, also measure conditions under a broody hen and detect how long she leaves them,etc... My broody hen experiment ended abruptly when my BCM stopped being broody.

So, I only got about 5 days worth of data.

Oh man, that sensor thing for when a hen leaves a nest would be ideal too!

My final hatch was 17 Chicks out of 20. 1 baby died

We are supposed to get rain too. And snow in the mountains..that's the best way for us to get our much needed water in the spring/summer. Snow on those mountains!

Baby pigeon is fine and tripled in size since hatching

I'll take a pic later once it warms up outside.

Sorry I didn't reply right away, 3 of my finches died (were sick) so now my hand raised one is the only one left and I have to figure out how to treat him.

So happy to hear that baby pigeon is good..so sad about your finches! Are these some that you bought as eggs? Or from a pet supply? Expensive?

Wow, great hatch! Congratulations. Sorry about your baby not making it, I had one that didn't make it either. Alive for several days. No fun. :/
I still say it isn't too later for photos of babies!
