I have good news, sharing on a few threads!!

Our baby just got engaged today! Whoot! We knew it was going to happen with this young lady. We are happy it did, she is a wonderful girl!

I came across someone on here who used solar lights to extend the amount of light the chickens received. The best part was the light faded gradually and mimicked dusk which gave the girls time to settle in. I thought it was a very cool idea.

I have pics but they're already over a week old. I'll have to take more pics.

One of the great things about doing this HAL is I have a great photo journal of the goings on I wouldn't have otherwise.

How did everyone's hatches go. I was offline for quite a while and I am about 700+ posts behind and it is going to take me forever to catch up. lol. My chicks are doing good, only got 4 quail from the hatch though and no ducks. I have had about 0% fertility on duck eggs at the moment. Although, I did just collect a double yoke duck egg today.

Here is a size comparison. The double yoke, regular duck egg, chicken egg, quail egg.

Haha! It has been raining. And my grass just decided to grow again! The rain is much better than the CA drought.

No fair! It is 16 degrees f here and we have snow covering everything. It's gonna be 11 degrees tonight and the high tomorrow is supposed to be only 18

That's good it's been raining there!
