Doesn't have to be fancy to work! We love our Uglybator!Yes definitely post pics of your bator! Egg turner...I'm envious!
I plan on making one out of a clear plastic storage container. It'd be large enough to fit egg turners.

My incubator is...(just one moment while I measure it....Everyone take my tools here.
) Found it!
It's 17 inches long x 8.5 wide by 12 high at the bottom. I run two 25 watt chandelier bubs. The idea of having two lights is that if one does burn out...all is not lost. And I've actually had that scenario happen. I chose chandelier bulbs because they're skinnier. I did try 2- 40 watt bulbs, but I found the temp jumped a bit too high after the lights cut out. The bator's in the laundry room that I've kept at 74. (It's a cold room when the wind blows and is heated separate from the main house.) I use a 6 inch regular fan I bought from Walmart and I use a wafer thermometer which sits on a small box. High tech...NOT!I've got baking racks in the bottom covered by a perforated plastic sheet used in crafting. (More high tech)
