Well the final count is out.. I got three .. the rest died.. bummer. Well I am glad we didn't get just one. I am going to start working on my own bator. I think we get too many temp swings in our house even though I keep the bator in a closed bathroom. It's still a styro bator. I think I can do better! Good luck everyone!

My first popped out at 9:30 this morning- I thought this was a day early but I am a pretty-much beginner- I've got two more crackin out now, hoping for a few more!

Im totally thrilled!! This is my first hatch in my new homemade incubator and hatcher and so far its been a big success! I have had all fertile eggs hatching. only 2 quitters out of all 29 eggs 19 in the bator and the 10th chick almost out of its shell. Couldnt be happier. Now my hubbys complaining over all the chirping lol he will get over it ha ha ha

I'm a little slow here, but that's possibly the nicest thing I've ever heard....

Does you ever pray that the Good Lord would allow you to take on someone else's burden, suffering or pain?
I think we all should,helps with humbleness.

Happy New Years eve to all.... From one addicted chicken person to all the others. AND there was just to many cute fuzzy s butts on here. Going to set eggs the first of January. So much for the resolution not to hatch.. Here is my eggs
