Made a little upgrade to my coop today. I designed a 8x12run by 4’ high. It will attach to my tractor supply coop. I ran out of daylight today so I’ll post pics of the coop attached tomorrow. It was a simple design, for the sides I made 4’x4’ panels out of treated ground contact 2x4x8s that I ripped in half then made two different cuts per 8’ board two were 4’ and then two were 3’9”. I cut these two measurements so once I screwed them together using a Kreg jig they would be 4’x4’. I made 8 of these panels then using 3” screws I screwed them together making the 8x12x4’ run. I then made the roof panels 4’x8’ using the same method of ripping three 2x4x8s in half for the 8’ span and then ripping three 2x4’s in half and then cutting them three 3’9” to make threw roof panels 4’x8’. After I had everything screwed together using my kreg jig pocket holes I then using a pneumatic stapler, stapled the 1/2” hardware cloth to the wood . Here’s a few pics
