8.5 week old Speckled Sussex genders?

I got them the first week of March.

How old are they in the pic?

If there is any red in comb, single comb birds, it's a cockerel. Most show red before 8 weeks. At this point in time, 9 weeks, it's safe to say pullet.

Yeah, they have a lil pink in their comb, but definitely not red

They are definitely girls. I've raised plenty of them. Males are obvious by 5 to 6 weeks

I sure know my Welsummer cockerel was lol

Thank you! They, along with my 2 Welsummers, were surprise chicks. Lol... i didnt know their breed or obviously their sex. I just knew I had 4 babies that looked like chipmunks lol

Pullets. This is my SS at 7 weeks old. His comb and waddles started growing and getting red at 5 weeks.
