8-9 week black ameraucana roo or pullet?

I bought this black ameraucana from a local breeder to me as a pullet! Just curious if that’s what she is looking like. And her pupils look blotchy almost ?

Quite hard to tell. How old is she and are her tail feathers pointg? Also does she have saddle feathers?

Her tail feathers look rounded and I don’t see any saddle feathers. Her comb is also very pale.

At that age you have to go by the comb because other sex characteristics aren't in play. The comb looks fairly small and pale, so I think it is a pullet. By 12, 13 weeks male specific feathering will appear if it is a cockerel, so by then it should be clear one way or the other.

The chicken's left pupil definitely look strange (right is not shown), but I don't know enough to suggest a cause. Is this likely to be a harmless individual trait, or a symptom of some problem?

Both of her pupils have been like that since I got her! She doesn’t seemed bother by it. But I’m not sure why they are like that.

I can't tell from the pictures given, but the iris does look like it's more gray than normal.

No, she’s the only one with pupils like that! I haven’t been able to find much information about something like that.
