Not sure if this is where I should post this (posted under flock stories as well) but I went to pick up peachicks from a man near me who hatches them out. As we were passing by his birds I saw this teeny tiny little girl in a cage and ended up taking her home with me
. Now I have seramas but haven't ever had micros (8 Oz and under) however I have read that they don't live very long and typically don't lay. This crele hen I got however is a year old lays and sits on eggs even is trying to be mommy to my peachicks which is a sight with 4 chicks as big as her trying to cuddle under her
. So my question is, is this something that would be desirable to breed in? She is very healthy despite her size and is so so tiny, she barely hits 8 oz. I would be interested in selling fertile eggs and maybe chicks from her if that's something that is popular but I'm not sure if this is a desirable trait or not
. To me it is because she's so daggum cute but I want to know your opinions
. (By the way sorry for the bad picture I went out and took it at night
)
