I have 6, 8 week old chicks, I wanna move them to the coop, but I am curious if the cold nights will be too harsh for them (28⁰)?

You definitely have to make sure that they're fully feathered and are acclimated to cooler temperatures before just plopping them outside. I stop using a heat source for them indoors, then they go out to the garage- out of wind and harsh weather. AND then they finally graduate to the coop!

They are fully feathered, and they have been in a 45-55⁰ environment for the past 2 weeks.
They should likely be okay, but if it makes you nervous, transition them out during the day, bring them in at night, and do that for 2-3 days before leaving them out for good.
