8 year old hen with sour crop? I need help treating it.

This is her right now, I cant hold her and figure out what to do so I had to put shavings under her body and a rock under her head so she is not aspirating.

I forgot to put the pic in

If it wasn't for her breathing I would think she was dead.

She passed away at 4:44pm may 14 2022.
I decided to name her Ethel about 30 minutes ago.
She went very calmly and I didn't really realize (I kind of knew but I thought she might have wanted to adjust her head a little bit) she was going until the contents of her crop came out of her beak.

I hope everyone has a great rest of their day, I am going to go bury her now.

I’ve had sick chickens before and they would wait till I came home from work to say their goodbyes. I thought it strange but they were my pets.
My chickens and ducks are total pets, they are here just for the companionship that they give me. They were originally for eggs and things like that but eventually they turned into just pets.
Most of my chickens have died at night or when I'm not around, so it's nice for me to be able to be there for them and know how they went.

I don't know what I would do without BYC, so thank you everyone who helps those in need of advice and guidance with sick animals or anything really!
