In short our barred rock rooster Clyde was a trade. And he is now no longer safe for the hens.... and takes pride in attacking my family.... daily. I need to learn to make dinner with him but have zero experience.

He ended up barred rock not dominiques which is our preferred birds due to high predators & foraging in woods. He was nice until hens started laying. Now he's a great protector of the ladies... but is harsh on the girls. 2 hens he's tore up their backside so bad they get picked on worse because he's just rough. Last 4 weeks he started attacking us. He gets plenty of free roam - keeps tabs on every hen, and protects our turkey. I finally decided to try to rehome him. Turns out he's small for breed standards. How do I politely ask friends or neighbors to help me with our first dinner bird? Or is there a simple step by step somewhere for those whom will cry through the process?
