Had to chase off a stray rooster again yesterday. My neighbor doesn't have an official coop and so lost most of his girls. His roosters are looking for a new harem. My poor cockerel keeps getting chased into the snow. Fixed the stray's wagon yesterday, though. I sicced my chihuahua on him. He had a grand time chasing the rooster through the field back to the neighbor's house.

Got something I've never seen before.

Funny skunk-like stripes down the back of a black/barred chick. The silver partridge is really pretty, can't wait to know if it's a boy or girl.

Six for sure pullets. Only 50% sexlinking with this batch, since both boys are breeding.
