I have two hatched, a bunch of pips and one that is just starting to zip. Only 1 that i can see is pipped on the wrong end. It's beak is out, but I"m not sure sure it's will have enough room to move around - do they ever turn around?
One of the chicks that's already hatched is from my backyard mix - roos were an ayam cemani, a barred something, a white or a blue silkie. Mom's are 3 EE's that I thought were boys (until they started laying eggs. Both these chicks are still damp. But they appear to be both be black. The second chick is a Silverudd's Blue. It has a white patch on it's chest.
Everyone should be waking up to a bunch of little chicks running around!!
None of my shipped Ayam Cemanis (that were lost at the post office for a month) made it to lock down.
