Ok, they're in! Some call duck eggs and some super silkie eggs both from Rubynala97 . I had to wait to set for longer than planned and coincidentally I think I make the allowance to join in the new year HAL! Yippee!!! Now how many more eggs can I gather in the next 4 days ;)

I'm picking up eggs from two different folks tomorrow, within 45 minutes from where I live. Is there anything special I need to do for the ride back to my house?

When I get mine from nearby, I make sure they are flat on the floor...back seat floor. Make sure you have your heater set for the top only, not for the floor. And of course, make sure the eggs are pointy end down. :)

There's room for about as many more as I set, things could get fun with the numbers ;) I do have a stop and shop selling fertile eggs, thing is: brooding to cull or lay is so much work when I usually lose my mind and practically give them away at 5 weeks

Well, there ya go. So, there are chickens in them, and you don't call those a coop?

Or, are you saying..that 23 birds..can..go in there!

ahh, I see. I have one big coop..not huge, but it's the ..the coop..then a run with a place for young pullets to go behind if windy/rainy/snowy. A nursery hutch outside. And one I call the straight out coop, because it's straight out from the back door. :p It isn't big enough to stand in, good for growing out chicks. Nice long run with that one.
