That's how I do it. One for incubating and one for hatching

I started a week ago, coz my bator is nasty for the first few days.... Nearly stable now.

Yes!

I started mine this morning and the mailman brought me the hygrometer today, so I'm trying to get a feel for that as well, to make sure I'm keeping things where I want them. I wish I would have spent a little more time on learning when this bator suffers a humidity drop and what its threshold is LOL. Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound!

I'm picking up eggs from two different folks tomorrow, within 45 minutes from where I live. Is there anything special I need to do for the ride back to my house?

I have and in every speckled sussex or hatching eggs thread i could find lol I guess it wasnt meant to be I will either hatch out some more reds or wait, I wish everyone the best of luck either way and i will tag along for support and of course to see all those cute chicks

That's what I do, personally. My main incubators are always running, really. My hatchers are oooold as the hills but they do the job, so I can't complain. It's nice being able to hatch whenever and not really have to worry about timing.
