That's it.. Never again!!!
I'm too kindhearted.
Yesterday it was so cold out that I took a man into my home out of kindness of my heart. I felt so sorry for him. Poor thing was just standing out in the cold wind shaking so bad. This morning he had just vanished. Not a word. Not even a goodbye or a thank you for sheltering him.
I then realized he had peed all over the living room floor! That's the thank you I get for being good to people.
So I'm warning all my friends to watch out for this guy. He is heavy set, wearing nothing but a scarf, he has a nose that looks like a carrot, two black eyes, and his arms are so skinny they look like sticks. Don't bring him into your house!
Hope this made you smile like me...
Merry Christmas!

Good story!

Well, my TJ eggs are faring no better than Cynthia12's. Not a single vein, and they've been in since Thursday. I will wait a little longer, but it's not looking good. Also, my shipped Bieies are not looking good either. Kind of depressing. But, will do the official "weed out" candle at the end of the week. I'm afraid there's going to be lots of room in the incubator after that!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. Still hoping for the best in the meantime.

Sorry guys, I've been busy so not posting much (or at all, more accurately). Both the weird back sleeping chick and the tiny one with a broken ankle are 100% fine thanks to you guys' advice. I have a lid on the brooder box now or they climb on the hot pad cave and hop out of the box to come find me. <3 10 babies in the brooder, expecting more to hatch soon, starting to set new years eggs and getting super excited! I got rid of my Coturnix roo yesterday, really hoping to get a nice big male from one of my batches of chicks to replace him with.

What was the julian date on the eggs? It is a three digit date stamped on the carton.

The date on this one is 021--January 21 is the date. Look for a date in the 300s on yours.
