Yes, I am not kidding. It was the girl stocking the shelves. Maybe I should have gine and talked to the people in charge.

She'd probably freak out if she saw on here how many chicks have been hatched from those eggs.

Whew, I can't believe I finally got hold of some Trader Joe's eggs..and now....I have 3 doz. of them set! What was I thinking? What if I get .. say...2 doz. to hatch..what will I do? Someone please tell me what I should do. lol

I have a solution Cynthia...if you get 2 dozen to hatch, you can send me a dozen babies. There, problem solved!

OMG I was just at Trader Joe's looking at eggs. The girl was stocking them, so I asked, did you put out any new fertile eggs today? She didn't know so we started looking at them. She said " you know they aren't really fertile" no I didn't know that, I said. First she said that there is a rooster but he doesn't mate them. I said if there is a rooster in there he is mating them. Then She said " yeah they don't have a rooster in there with them, they just get to look at a rooster in a pen by them. I said, wouldn't that be false advertising? She didn't know what to say after that.

I feel silly right now with the whole cabinet bator running and only 1 egg in it lol. I had 3 in it but only one has any development. I guess it'll be a little singleton for a week and a half if it hatches. It'll just get to be super spoiled I'll be adding more on Friday We are doing the whole 2 days before and after the set date to count, correct?
