Hi byc,

I have a gorgeous wee buff whom I've been too scared to prematurely name.

She was sold as a pulley but I'm not too sure. No crowing or roostery behaviour (yet?) But really want to put the mind at ease;

Bonus points to whoever can guess the breed of the brown and gold beauty :) 20171101_181801.jpg 20171101_181759.jpg

Bad news all around - with that much red in the comb and wattles at this age, I would say cockerel.

And, he's not a buff orp. He has what would appear to be a pea comb. Buff orps have single combs. I think I also see some slight feathering on the legs, which is also something that orps don't have.

The legs are white which is dominant in Orpington the feathered feet and pea comb could have come from a light Bantum Brahma.
