My pullets are 9 weeks old but the temperatures are still fluctuating. We can have 55-70 degrees during the day but likely to go down to 40 tonight, 50's overnight the rest of the week. Are they ready to go out to the coop yet?

Forgive me I am really new at this! They are in a pen on my enclosed porch and I would really like them out of there!

Thanks!
Amy

Put them out they'll love ya for it. You can always put the heater in the coop for a couple days to transition them. I worried about mine when the coop temp dropped to 38 degrees with my 8 week old pullets. In the morning I found all of them roosting near the vents in the ceiling which to me I thought they would have avoided
