These are some of my 9 week old chickens. I got 11, 5 of which are pullets, 6 are SR. Both my Buffs ended up being Roos, but I'm keeping one (my first roo in 9 years of chicken raising!)
One of my EEs is white with red splashes, so it's name had been Stew Meat since early on.
These kids are confusing me. I have thought the grey and brown EE was a girl, but I need affirmations! Her legs are much smaller than stew meat's, and her coloring is even. Any thoughts?
The other 2 are my Cuckoo marans. I know the darker one is a hen, but for a long time suspected the lighter one to be a roo. However, at 9 weeks there's no red comb and s/he seems fairly docile. I would love any help!🥰

For starters, the top barred chicken is a barred rock. The feet are yellow and the barring is more pronounced, all barred rock traits.

The second barred chicken is a cuckoo maran.

All look like pullets to me.

Excellent! I have a grown barred rock, and asked for more when I got this round, but the chick guy said they were out. I kept thinking it looked like a BR, so that was part of my confusion. Thank you so much!🥰🐥🐓.

Well, that would be exciting. Dominiques were not on the list of breeds for sale, but stranger things have happened. I have like 14 different kinds of chickens, so the more, the merrier🐥🥰 and now that I've read about them, the comb looks right. What do you think?
