Here are some pictures of my 9 week old EE from McMurray. It's supposed to be a girl, but i'm having second thoughts on that one. He/she is slightly aggressive with the other chickens and also food aggressive. Thanks for your help!

I'm thinking roo.... I have two EE's and my rooster looked like that and my female at 14 weeks still has no comb. But that's just my opinion! :)

Dang it, dang it, dang it!!! So there is NO possible way it could be a female?

That's scary! I have 3 EEs from McMurray hatchery that are supposed to be pullets as well and , granted they are only a week and a half old, but they are the most aggressive and biggest of them all. I wonder how often the hatcheries make mistakes???

Sexing by hatcheries is only about 90% accurate.

My favorite roo was a hatchery "pullet." It is my understanding (although I could certainly be wrong) that the 3 rows of pea comb and the white feathering pattern on yours are both characteristics of male EEs.

Size and aggression usually don't have much to do with sex. In a group of pullets, someone's still got to be the boss and someone else will still challenge that. On the OP bird, that comb screams roo.
