At this age you should be able to see the pointy saddle & hackle feathers emerging if they were roos. With birds I'm not sure about I'm frequently parting their feathers at those places to see if those boy feathers are growing in.
I am so happy to finally have EE pullets, plus I really adore these two. They have been attached to me since chicks so it would be really hard to give them up. They would cry when I left the room and they still cry when I leave the coop area. Spoiled? Nah, lol. Now I just have to get my 8 other 4 and 5 month old girls to accept them in the next 3 weeks before I leave on vacation. I'm not enjoying that task very much since the older ones make the babies scream when they peck them
They get so scared they go into a corner and get very still or lie down and start purring. It's very hard for a chicken mommy to handle, lol.
