Thank you and thank you Ron. Eggs are currently nestled into clean cartons, separated by color, pointy side down, resting. I'll give them a good 24 hours to settle before candling to check for air cells in proper position.

This isn't rocket science, but it IS incubation!!
 
In that range, yeah, it's good. Just get thermo/hygro that you can calibrate with probes that you can stick in. I drilled a few small holes in the base to put them through. Put a folded towel under it and wrap a scarf around it for extra insulation. Or put it in a box?
I was looking at this. I also was planning to configure a tube and syringe to thread through the hole in top to add water. I’m hoping I will only need to open 3x to candle.
