Yep. I'll be in a pinch, but I'll make sure they are warmed up and leave them upright in the incubator without turning for a day if necessary.

The eggs have to sit for a good 12 to 24 hours before being set.... you can put them in the incubator but don't turn it on during that time. You have to give the eggs time to have the air cell reset into the big end, and to be brought to room temperature.

Count me in, I have eleven shipped eggs and will try to get some fertile eggs from my hens. I separated them from the roosters last week-so I'll have to put one back in with them in the morning.

I believe hens can still lay fertile eggs up to 3 weeks after being with a roo....

The eggs are piling up and waiting for Monday! There have been more added to the pile since I took this picture this morning.

Sucky pic. I'll take a better one tomorrow. The eggs arrived cold, but not frozen cold. A very interesting mix in color, shape and size.

Eggs look good! It looks like some of them are pointy end up.
