I kept a male and female from last New Years hatch. Brother and sis, but in separate pens. Well, my roo was Dec 27, but was raised with the nyh. Anyways, I lost a beautiful broody that was a nyh an ee and a hen from 2 yrs ago nyh. Count me in for this years hatch as well!! I don't plan on keeping any from my ee from last yr, but I've been breeding 2 other hens with an ee roo that looks exactly like a blue wheaten ameraucana. My lightcolored ee and a blrw/rir mix. Those offspring will be bred with my young ee roo. I don't know how many eggs yet, hoping to fill the bator with 42, but with so many new pairs, fertility will be a concern.
