Set 16 eggs (13 Silverudds blues and three 55 flowery hen) at 7 pm last night. Some of the air cells are a bit loose (though the one day wait afforded by the faster-than-expected shipping seems to have helped some) , so I ran the egg turner only long enough for it to move to the upright position. I'll plug it back in in a couple of days. 2 or 3 days no turning for loose air cells?

I set 45 eggs Sunday 6pm.
A few are hard to see in, but otherwise fertility looks excellent here! 2 hens were put in with a new roo, so was worried about whether he did his job or not. These white eggs are a new layer, and still haven't seen them mate, lol! Excited for new lines this year!

I completely forgot to candle and mark air cells on day 1.. I meant to do this!! Wish I had some Silverudds in my bator too!

Pretty boring in the room with the incubator. Temps good humidity good everything turning as it should. Not really sure of the fertility with these but time will tell.
On a more exciting note I got 4 eggs today. Compared to 0 for the past week this is really good. :celebrate:wee

I agree those look cool. Had to look them up. I need some green/blue egg layers. Customers really like them, and my last green egg hen is getting too old now.
