What color are the eggs? It can be hard to tell that early with dark eggs?

I had one quitter from an older egg. 24 wiggles!

Get a really strong flash light the one that is included with many bators are not strong enough but go in a dark closet that is how you can candle them

They are Silkie eggs so light cream/pink color. I’m using an led flashlight light, I do need to turn the light off next time. I’ll probably wait till Sunday that will be day 7 and I can mark air cell too.

If you hand turn your eggs, such as em-connie likes to do. And you run out of sterile gloves...

I feel really bad about it.. seriously. I couldn't get it back to sleep. So we went on a car ride around the block. After 10 minutes, z oink.. out like a lite. I think she's teething. I will pick up some baby amber-sol in the morning.. No worries. It's always something.

If only these eggs weren't so high maintenance!

Has anyone mastered this hatching technique yet? I'd like to know more...
