Since humidity or lack there of is a huge issue here I've enlarged the surface area of the water troughs in my styrofoam incubator. Now I only have one area to put water in which will be so much simpler. I did not take the center part out as it is not solid underneath like the other two parts were.

Many people don't bother to use water troughs. They say it's easier to control humidity with cups of water.......?:confused:

I used to put in cups of water with a sponge stuck in the top.
I usually need the trough and sponges. The heater in my home takes moisture out as it runs. Great for humans not so much for chicks trying to hatch. Really looking forward to this being easier. And maybe not needing the sponges.
