I'll have to admit that I was hooked by the title of this thread and look, but nearly jumped out of my chair when I saw the pictures... Like Mark, I have a bit of a phobia of spiders.
When they are outside, live and let live... But in the house that is another story... big or small, they have to go...
We have large wolf spiders that I find facinating from a far, but when they jump after me protecting their space in my house, I loose it... "Honey... Get the shoe, book, remote control... anything to keep it from me..."
I guess my fear of spiders came as a young child when my Mum was bitten by a Brown Ratclus (sp?). The spot where she was bitten was on her thumb knuckle and she nearly lost her thumb even after several doctor visits and many $$$ in antibotics treatments.
Since then, my nerves cannot handle spiders in the house... Although I do not have a problem will relocating a Daddy Long Legs outside, the others must beware of the shoe, book and remote control.
It has been fun reading everyone's posts about their pet spiders in the shower and towel closets... I wish I had the nerve to bare having any in the house. The Charolett's of the world can have a nice home outside with Wilbur.
