I finally got some halfway decent shots of my "breeder" Bielefelder cockerel. He was kind enough to pose for me outside my bedroom sliding door.

This may have already been discussed, but I was wondering if anyone here had crossed a Bielefelder rooster with a blue isbar hen? If so, what did it look like? Pics? And what kind of egg would you get?
I've got a biel rooster over a variety of hens (splash blue Isbar, welsummer, Plymouth Rock, buff Orpington, light brahma and cream legbar). Just wondering if any of these mixes would make an interesting cross. I've got eggs incubating with all of these so I will find out in time but I just wondered if anyone else had pictures of a Bielefelder roo over other breed hens that turned out nice.

I have a Bielefelder roo over Isbar hens and hatched a bunch this year. I only kept a few for myself, but here are some pics of the youngsters. They are around 20 weeks old. They are not yet laying but I am hoping for green.






The last pic also shows a pure Bielie girl behind the mix girl.

No clue, I didn't track it. There were head spots so it is possible but I don't have any idea if the genetics make them so.

DesertChic that is a Nice Rooster really like his comb and nice long back. Do you know what he weighs?
