A Bielefelder Thread !

I realize this is likely more appropriate for the ISO section but I thought I would have more success here. I just lost my second Biel cockerel (at 21 weeks) and now I have five pullets and a defunct breeding program. I'm wondering if anyone out there has surplus males around 20 weeks they are looking to part with. I realize no one wants to ship older birds, so I would be willing to make a reasonable drive (I live in West Texas). If you think you may be interested, send me a PM. Any help appreciated

Not sure I'm doing this right...guess we'll see. I have an extra male Biele that will need a home, if you are still interested. I live in NC.

Thank you all. She sure has a sweet disposition already. Very calm. Will have to come on and watch for other photos and info. And, post some of her as she grows. New breed for me..I've read up on a lot of the posts here. Learned a lot. Was interested in the egg laying. Sounds like they are a pretty good sized bird. Looking forward to the big eggs that I am reading about on here too.
Also, good to read that they are good winter birds..we get some hard winters here.

I'll "third" that, primarily because of the black/silver coloring. I don't have experience with Rhodebars, but all of the photos I've seen depict a bird with much more red coloring than your handsome boy is showing.
