A Big Little Life by D.Koontz - finished it!

The Watchers was AWESOME.

I also highly recommend "By The Light of the Moon"

I will most likely end up reading his new book eventually

Have you read "Your Heart Belongs To Me"?

Our rural library got a grant to order X number of books. She asked me if I had any requests. I gave her a list of DK books, including Your Heart...and books by James Lee Burke.

I absolutely love the books by Dean Koontz. However I will not be reading his new one. We recently had to put our dogs down. She was 15 yrs old and had cancer. Incidendently her name was also Trixie. She was the best dog ever. I probably wouldn't make it through the first paragraph of the book.

I'm finding out by what little I've read of it so far that it's helping me recall the good times with Charlie Girl and not the sad ending.

I love Dean Koontz. Hes just as original as Stephen King but not so wordy. My favorite was One Door Away From Heaven. It was not anything near a horror. Its a very surprising book. You will never guess where it ends up but its a wonderful story. Door to December is good too. I have read a couple of his that will gross you out though. I cant remember the name of it but the bad guy turned into swarms of roaches and stuff and I thought that was creepy.

Watchers was a FANTASTIC book! His older writings were better IMHO.

I completely agree! Just don't watch any movies made from the books...they butcher them badly! Watchers the movie took a well-to-do real estate developer/widower and turned him into a teenager played by Cory Haim.
