A Brush of Wind~A Winged Cougar Role Play

Fola turned her eyes down onto Amethyst, then looked at Lachlan. "And what do you have to say?"
~
Lachlan opened his mouth, but Reagan interrupted. "It's my fault we crossed Ma'am. I told my friend, Amethyst, we should chase the rabbit we saw on the border," She lied, but there was no way to tell. "We've never been over the border before she we didn't realize we crossed until we reached the larger boulders. He only came because we did, he came to bring us back."
~
"Quiet, Reagan." Lachlan said coolly, watching Fola. "I was charged with watching them, Queen."
~
"What was everything that happened, action by word, when you found them, Amara?" Fola said, looking at Reagan.
"It was my fault!" Amethyst blurted, tears falling. "I said to chase the Fluffle! It was an accident though, I didn't realize we had crossed the..."
"Hush, hush, she asked me," replied Amara. "I was hunting, because I hadn't found much luck in the mountains," she said.
Sour luck I had too today with you finding me... thought Amethyst.
"I saw her and her comrades as the Kentari responsible for the Eruditos arrived. The girl had a Fluffle and as she saw me she dropped it and they apologized," said Amara, gesturing to Lachlan. "I told them to come with me, and so I took the Fluffle and we flew here. That is what happened."

Reagan glanced at her friend, shocked that she had spoke up.
~
Lachlan stood tall. "Please, good Queen, hold me responsible for this. I am their care taker, thous it is right," He paused. "Of course, that is if you see it fit."
~
Fola sighed. "The eruditos can go now, but not you. Your name?"
"Lachlan."
Fola looked at Amethyst and Reagan, waiting for them to leave.

Reagan kept glancing between Fola and Lachlan, backing up as she did, then whirled around, taking flight and heading for Riqueo camp.
~
"Thank you." The male named Lachlan said to Fola, who watched him closely. "You still need to be marked for trespassing, as are traditions. Amara," She jerked her head. "Pin him."

Amara pinned Lachlan. She was glad the eruditos had gone. It was an apparent accident. And wouldn't Lachlan realize that the Kensha weren't as cruel as the leader of the Riqueo said them to be?
~~~
Amethyst touched down into Riqueo camp.
"You two are in big trouble...." said the leader. "Especially you, young lady," he pointed to Reagan.
"It was my fault," said Amethyst, more confident here than in a different tribe in what her punishment would be. "And how did you find out?"
"Those Kensha make fast messengers. In and out of here to inform me what happened up there before you could get here. Before he left though, I told him about the erudito from their tribe one of our Kentari saw the other night. Perhaps they will be more forgiving in letting Lachlan go, but he is a bit older than that one was."
Amethyst wandered home and knew her mother would punish her, and it would be painful, as well as a bit of work to go with it, but it probably wouldn't be quite as much as the guilt Reagan would feel talking to her father. Though she did feel guilty of course.
"Now, Reagan, what is happening to your brother?" He asked fearfully. If I hadn't sent him to get them, things might have been better. They may have been worse, but they would probably have turned out better, he thought. Now he's all alone with those awful Kenshas, like my friend was.
