Feedman - the bourbons look great! I find it fascinating how the wild turkeys hang out with the domestics - we have no wild turkeys here so I never see that. Although I to get released pheasants that come around and hang out with my birds for company sometimes.

Still sad about Coco, wish I knew what had happened. DH disposed of her this morning for me, so I'll never know. I'll look for another mature hen buddy for Big Bird in the spring - she really enjoyed having another turkey hen to hang out with

Feedman, your Bourbons look good! Your mystery guest does look like Aurora's Sweet Pea! I was just thinking that when Aurora chimed in.

Brrr!!!

The blizzard never showed up but 6.5" of snow did for a total of 20 1/4" of snow for the month. The northern part of the state did get the blizzard with total white outs and zero visibility. They were close on the predicted temperature with a low of -26°F this morning. It is sunny now and the temp is all the way up to -20°F. I left the door to the coop open last night just in case the turkeys wanted to go inside. They were all out on their roosts basking in the sunshine this morning.

no snow yet. Probably 1/8 to 1/4 inch of ice. was feeding did see a couple flakes starting to fall. temp 23 and dropping. calling for -6 actual with 20 mph plus wind tonight.

Wow he's handsome Feedman. How old is he? My girls would swoon.

I really need to decide on if I want a tom. Worried that I only have the two girls. If they were all like JJ I'd take one in a second.
