I realize this is a Turkey thread but I have the attention span of a gnat here lately.

Well we do cover a lot of ground here!

And on that note....all three of the baby robins are doing well! Mom is in overdrive feeding them. Do daddy robins help feed the babies? I honestly can't tell who is who. Both parents look the same to me.

Yes they do.

They used to be on the menu when I was a kid. Then we were told they had large amounts of mercury in them and not to eat them....Looking back,I can't remember WHO told us that...

I am guessing it is another dead beat Mother and you are seeing the hard working father and grandfather raising the kids the mother went and abandoned....

Yeah Ralphie, I can't tell one parent from the other. Maybe mom did sneak off....smart girl!!

Yep,Robins,doves and snipes

Snipes were fun. Go through a box of shells trying to hit them at dusk

They could fly circles around doves and ducks.
