Crows dont let hawks hang around, encourage the crows to stick aroundGot another question for the folks out here. What are your thoughts about crows? I had to toss a lot of eggs over the last couple weeks, so they went into compost. I've got a half dozen crows that have been following the new kids around chowing on the left over food when they move. Now they've moved into the compost pile and keep digging up the eggs. They don't seem to be hurting anything, other than giving me an extra chore and they don't get close enough to the babies to give them bugs. Should I leave them be or motivate them to move on?![]()
YES!!!crows hate hawks and drive them away.... may take an egg once in a while as payment though
mine are in the biggest bull pines they can find, they are often mistaken for squirrel nests because they use a lot of sticks and leaves to make themI grew up in the woods. To this day I have never found a crows nest.
