I remembered!! When you get your NPIP do they check EVERY INDIVIDUAL BIRD?? Cause I have a LOT of birds...

And I came up with a new way of breaking the broodies. I chunk there feathered behinds out of the pen. The camp roosters make sure they don't stop moving!

before west nile came through, they nested in the spruce trees out front... I have only seen 1 crow on the place since and he was just passing through.. 13 miles away at a cousin's, lots of crows

That is a depends question. I have a LOT of birds too, I estimate between 400-500 right now.

In Minnesota, as that is all I know they check 100 of each species. After that they do a percentage of the birds....

It takes me 3 days to do my testing.

If I were to ask for the State to help it would take less time. MnchickMom helped me this year that helped a lot.

I have some crows and ravens around, howerver, they do not stay here all day I wish they did.

Supposedly west nile is 100% fatal to crows. So my question is this.... Who went out and found the 100% of the crows with west Nile and made sure they were all dead?
