A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I'll still have my mutts and dino chickens. Im hoping the turkeys have their act together for their second year. I'm going to be working with my "Not Midgets" try and get the weight and meat confirmation correct. Probably try my hand at the party colors.

We had a broad breasted white turkey poult (Meant for meat and don't live long as adults.) We learned how he died because we opened him up to see him compacted with nothing but grass when we found him dead. We have nothing poisonous.

He might have gorged and ended up with impacted crop... if you are worried and they haven't had access to grass before, start out with limited free range time 10-15 mins or so and extend it each day until they get used to it and don't risk overindulging...

X2.

I had a young pullet get the same issue once when she was free ranging for the first time. Thankfully I caught it in time and was able to clear the blockage but most won't gorge like that.

My wife called from work to ask me if it was raining HERE. And it wasn't UNTIL she CALLED.:he:he:he:th
It has rained here ALLLLLLLLLL Day. I have been soaked to the skin several times - inside drying out again.
