We had a broad breasted white turkey poult (Meant for meat and don't live long as adults.) We learned how he died because we opened him up to see him compacted with nothing but grass when we found him dead. We have nothing poisonous.
He might have gorged and ended up with impacted crop... if you are worried and they haven't had access to grass before, start out with limited free range time 10-15 mins or so and extend it each day until they get used to it and don't risk overindulging...
My big tom is now called Tommie Tucker and the other tom is Ironsides (for all the gray!). I have yet to figure out what the two hens' names are. But they will eventually tell me!Well named all my Royals, Jubilee, Sherlock, Duck, and Royal.
