A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

It's easy to do on the new format. Kathy I've seen that video. It amazes me, considering how delicate poults can be, that they survive!

Ralph, any idea of what happened to all the birds? It's so weird that many could disappear without any predator hints.

Yeah, I am leaning towards a 2 legged predator, I had some friends over for coffee this morning. Both are farmers, they searched the entire guinea gulag and said there is no way an animal got into it..

The camera showed one frame where someone entered the pen late at night...We asked my Mother if she went in the pen...

It s hard to get an answer from her, her memory is not good and responding to questions is even harder for her...

Me: Mom. did you go into the chicken pen one night in the last couple weeks well after dark,,

Mom: Oh no, I would never do that.

Me: Are you sure?

Mom: well, sure, I am sure, unless I heard a noise and went to check it out..

Me: Did you hear a noise and check it out in the last couple weeks?

Mom: I don't know

Me: You don't know if you heard a noise in the chicken pen and went and checed it out?

Mom: well, NO, How would I know if I did that?

Me: Do you remember going into the chicken pen after dark in the last couple weeks..

Mom: No, I would never do that, Unless heard a noise and went to check it out..

The circle continues......

It just not make sense that a predator could take 90 birds and not leave a body or feather somewhere in the pen.

Time for padlocks.

BTW how high do you set a snare for a person again?
How about a deadfall? or one of those pits with sharp sticks?
